Anguilla's West End is known as the trendy side of the island with a high-end neighborhood of resorts, luxury villas, fine restaurants, beach bars, art galleries and the island's Greg Norman golf course.

The property is anchored by Malliouhana Hotel on one point, and the Viceroy Hotel a mile away on the othe - with Meads Bay beach in between. The hotel is located 20 minutes from the airport, and just 10 minutes from the ferry boat terminal at Blowing Point.

The Anacaona has a Mediterranean style with Caribbean colors featuring white stucco walls with pink tile roofs, lots of arches, open spaces and West Indian balconies to make the most of the trade winds. When the 27 room hotel is at capacity, there are no more than 62 house guests. And it's affordable chic - for most of the year, room rates begin at $160 double.

This is a place for total relaxation rather than activity - The property has two pools, two pavilions, and hammocks are slung between the tropical trees and beds of hibiscus and bougainvillea.

Accommodations include standard rooms (shown above), superior rooms, junior suites, along with two and three bedroom suites. The spacious suites have fully equipped kitchens.

All rooms and suites have ceiling fans, air conditioning, private balconies, free WiFi, iPod docks, laptop size safes, small refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, cable TV, and local crafted bathroom amenities. Other amenities include a full service Spa, Art Gallery, and ZaZAA Boutie showcasing jewelry and fashions from around the globe.

Dining at  Anacaona:

Poolside Firefly Restaurant and Bar overlooks the pool, and serves authentic old fashion Anguillian and Caribbean cuisine with a Eurasian flair. The private beach bar D'Sand Pit offers snacks and drinks on the beach, as well as a "to go" menu for guests on the move. Bar snacks include such island specialties such as Johnny Cakes to six varieties of chicken wings, specially prepared Anacaona crusted shrimp and the hotel's signature - a White Bait fish bowl with dips.

Meal Plans are available, however if you decide to go on a meal plan we encourage you to leave two days free so that you can sample some of our great restaurants on Anguilla
