The festival features exhibits from the most popular Bahamian artists. Proceeds from the art sale will support the preservation of Abaco’s six national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, along with an extensive series of blue holes and underwater caves. .
More than 30 Bahamian artists and craftsmen will have their works on display for purchase. The festival weekend will also feature musical entertainment, a farmers market, local cuisine, and an interactive speaker’s corner. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12 years of age.
Art for the Parks is organized by the Bahamas National Trust (BNT) in partnership with Abaco Beach Resort.

The BNT manages 27 national Bahamas parks covering more than two million acres of land and sea habitats.
The BNT is also a leader in environmental education with its recognized Discovery Club program which targets students, and provides teacher resources and training through environmental education workshops.
