Caribbean Cocktail Time!

Cheers! 
Here's a few Caribbean inspired cocktail recipes

LICK OF SUNSHINE


  • 1 part  Malibu Rum 
  • 1 part Pressed Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Whole Pressed Passion Fruit (or half Lime)
  • Stir Malibu and pineapple on ice
  • Squeeze passion fruit or lime into glass, stir to mix. Garnish with passion fruit and wedge of pineapple.

CHOCOLATE PIRATE




  • 1 1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
  • 1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz milk
  • 2 scoops chocolate ice cream
  • Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve in a chilled goblet.

COCONUT CREAM MARTINI


  • 1 oz Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum
  • 2 oz half and half
  • ¼ tsp vanilla Honey
  • Coconut flakes for garnish (optional)

STRAWBERRY RUM SUNDAE 
So Good!


  • 3 1/2 – 4 oz. Cruzan Strawberry Rum 
  • 1 1/2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream 
  • 1 cup fresh sliced strawberries 
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice 
  • 1 cup ice Blend rum
  • Ice cream, strawberries and pineapple juice in a blender until smooth. Add ice, blend until thick and smooth. Pour in glasses and garnish with fresh strawberry slices. 

Two additional options - (1) Drizzle top of the drink with chocolate syrup (2) Fill straw with 1/8 oz Cruzan Black Strap Rum

PASSION HONEY SHANDY
FROM ST LUCIA  


  • 2-3 oz. Piton lager beer
  • 2 oz. Grey Goose vodka
  • 3 oz. passionfruit juice
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp. honey
  • Mint leaves
  • Mix beer, vodka and passionfruit juice in a shaker with lime and honey. Strain and serve in a pilsner or pint glass over ice, then garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Having a Party? Here's a fantastic Sangria
Caribbean Sangria


  • 1 liter bottle of Rosé wine
  • 1 cup coconut rum
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 lemon sliced into rounds
  • 1 lime sliced into rounds
  • 1 mango peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup sugar (optional)
  • In a large glass pitcher, combine the wine, rum, pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar. Stir. Add the sliced lemons and limes. Add the mango. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill. Use lemon or lime peel for garnish.

Agua Loca Drink Recipe


  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz coconut rum
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish, if desired
  • Mixing Instructions: Add pineapple juice and coconut rum to mixing glass with ice. Shake and strain into glass with ice. Garnish with cherry. Raise glass and toast.
