Getaway to the "Real" Bahamas
Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort on Long Island, Bahamas
Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort is a small elegant beachfront resort offering just 20 beachfront bungalows. The vibe is relaxed, and you will feel this is your own private paradise.
The bungalows are just steps from the silky white sands
A barrier reef protects the beach from large waves. Wade out 50 feet in the brilliant turquoise water, and the warm water is only waist deep.
The four-mile long beach is lined with swaying palms, and the soft sand is free of coral or rocks. And, there are no jellyfish or sea urchins. As an expert Caribbean beach bum, I can assure you THIS is one of the BEST beaches in the Bahamas!
This resort offers either a relaxing romantic vacation, or more adventuresome activities including scuba diving to sailing to sport fishing, island tours, and free bicycle and kayak rentals are available for guests.
