Enjoy a flavorful weekend with tastings from 30 of the island's finest restaurants, along with rums, wine, beer, distilled spirits, and 50 international and local culinary personalities.
Daily demo kitchens provide visitors the opportunity to learn techniques and ingredients to prepare recipes the way the experts do. A one-day pass allows guests to access all areas for tastings and demonstrations.
This year Saborea Puerto Rico will offer two additional events - "Bubbles & Bites" for the grownups and "Taste of Saborea" for the whole family, where 20 chefs each prepare a feast for a 10-person table.
The festivals venue is conveniently located along Escambrón Beach at Third Millenium Park adjacent to the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, and is in close proximity to hotels, restaurants, museums, and historic Old San Juan.
Saborea Puerto Rico is a Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association (PRHTA) event benefiting its Educational Fund, which provides training and certifications in a variety of specialties for people in the hospitality industry, as well as other programs geared toward the local tourism industry’s development. It aims to promote Puerto Rico as a culinary destination and provide a platform for the island’s gastronomic industry.
