Bahamas Junkanoo Holiday Windjammer Cruise

Celebrate the Christmas holidays aboard the Schooner Liberty Clipper on a Bahamas Windjammer Cruise in time to witness the annual Bahamas Junkanoo Festival.

In addition to the enjoying the festival, this tall ship cruise will 
island hop through the islands of the Bahamas

Swim and snorkel in the warm waters of the Bahamas, take sea kayaks for a paddle, or jump in the custom sailing dingy to explore islands ashore on this island hopping sailing. 

Junkanoo is celebrated on December 26th and again on January 1st. The parade starts at 2:00am on December 26th, and runs through the night. 

The party kicks off at the British Colonial Hilton on Nassau's historic Bay Street where colorful Junkanoo dance troupes take to the street dancing to the rhythms of goatskin drums, cowbells, whistles and horns. 

At the end of the famous Junkanoo procession, judges award cash prizes for the best music, best costume and best overall group presentation.

The biggest Junkanoo parade is in Nassau, however you'll find festival/carnival celebrations on Grand Bahama IslandEleuthera,Harbour IslandThe ExumasBimini and The Abacos
