Moonsplash - Anguilla's Wildest Music Fest

It's that time again . . . Anguilla's local Reggae legend Bankie Banx hosts the island wildest music festival

Moonsplash is simple, with intimate performances in a natural setting,” says founder, Bankie Banx. “We don’t pick any particular genre – there’s folk, blues, reggae, some soul – just good music.  It’s a magical thing”.

This year the annual Moonsplash festival will be held February 21-24, and feature three days of nights of music, food, and plenty of "lethal" drinks under the full moon.

The festival brings not only the best of the Caribbean music scene, but also artists from around the globe. One of the traditions is to also feature local and upcoming artists - and everyone looks forward to Bankie's performance.

A new addition this year is Kidz-Splash – a special matinee performance for the children on Thursday afternoon.

Dune Preserve, Bankie Banx's infamous beach bar, is made out of driftwood, seashells, and salvaged boats from shipwrecks.

The two-acre strip is located on the beautiful shores of Rendezvous Bay, flanked by the world famous CuisinArt Resort to the left, and a world-class golf course on the right.

If you can't make it to Moonsplash, make note when visiting Anguilla there are monthly "full moon" parties at the Dune Preserve featuring entertainment from Bankie and other Reggae performers.
