Caribbean Rum & Beer Festival in Grenada

The annual Caribbean Rum & Beer Festival is heading back to Grenada November 22-23, 2013

Festival organizers have promised that the 2013 Caribbean Rum & Beer Festival in Grenada will be the best yet.

Last years festival debut in Grenada was so successful, the overwhelming response from judges, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors were all in agreement the festival should return again to the Spice Island

The festival features a unique mixture of rum and beer exhibitors from across the region, product sampling, master classes on rum and beer, as well as Caribbean music and food. Since its launch in Barbados in 2010 the festival has been popular both with exhibitors and visitors.

The big events is the annual CAB Taste Contest where all submitted rum and beer entries will be subjected to a blind tasting evaluation by  10 international expert judges. Winning rum and beer entries will receive gold, silver and bronze medals.

Other festival activities include a gala charity silent auction to raise monies for the Grenada based Queen Elizabeth Home (QEH) for children, and on the final day of the festival the Grenada Golf Club will host the 1st Caribbean Rum & Beer Festival Grenada Open Amateur Golf Championship
