The Torch Parade was first organized by the Tivoli Club, Aruba's oldest social club. The torch lights are a symbol of the heat generated by Aruban's as they warm up for the carnival season.
Tonight the Torch Parade (Fakkeloptocht) Kicks off from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. with bright lights heading down the streets of L. G. Smith Boulevard in the capital Oranjestad.
