Latest Bahamas Hurricane Relief Update

Bahamas Out Island impacted by Hurricane Joaquin are Cat Island, Ragged Island, Inagua, Mayaguana, Exuma, San Salvador, Rum Cay, Crooked Island, Long Island and Acklins.

Two community organizers (Lia Head and Gina Knowles) have mobilized much of the Bahamian community, and raised considerable funds through their efforts!

Matching all the donations received in the month of October up to $100,000, with 100% of the proceeds donated to The Bahamas Red Cross.

The organization has set up a bank account for Bahamas Hurricane Relief - Currently seeking donations for rice, oatmeal, flour, sugar, tuna, canned spaghetti, sardines, fruit cups, peanut butter, jam, corned beef, evaporated milk, other non-perishable items, along with furniture and bedding - All info on Bahamas Red Cross Facebook Page
