Jamaica Summer Food Festivals

June 24-25, 2016
Boston, Portland is the place to be for spicey Jerk Lobster, Conch, Sausage, Pork, Chicken, Rice n' Peas, Yams, Roasted Breadfruit,
and Rum & Brew Tasting

The former Portland Jerk Festival is now known as the Boston Jerk Fest. This popular 14 year old festival is located on Jamaica's Northwest coast, and is the largest food festival on the island.

Portland is located on the Northwest coast of Jamaica, and this is where the centuries-old style of grilling on pimento sticks began. Festival goers can purchase food as samples or as a meal.

This family friendly festival features a Kiddies Fun Village with face painting, arts and crafts, and even a merry-go-round. A music festival is scheduled at Folly Mansion with dance groups, and live jazz and blues at night.

Little Ochie Seafood Festival - July 10th

Alligator Pond in the Parish of St. Elizabeth is the location for the Little Ochie Seafood Festival.

This seafood festival lives up to its name with island chef's grilling, frying, sauteing, and steaming all things fresh from the sea. After the sun sets the Reggae Beach Party gets underway until the wee hours of the morning.

Happy Travels,
