Resort For A Day On Your Caribbean Cruise

When you're cruising the Caribbean, sometimes a hassle-free day
at the beach is more appealing than booking a
cruise line-sponsored shore excursion.

If you're in the mood for some sun and fun, purchasing a day pass at one of the many island resorts may be your best bet.

Certain day passes end up being quite affordable compared to booking a private tour or a beach day through the cruise line, depending on inclusions.

Resort For a Day currently offers passes for:

Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel, Curacao, Freeport, Grand Cayman, Hawaii, Jamaica, Nassau, Roatan, San Juan, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Thomas, San Juan and Tobago.

Resort passes offer all-day access to amenities like:

  • Pools, lounge chairs* (see exceptions for lounge chairs below)
  • Water sports equipment and activities
  • Food and beverages
  • Some include meals at on-site restaurants, transfers to and from cruise port or daytime use of resort rooms when available.

*Towels and lounge chairs are included with most Resort for a Day passes, however the Viva Wyndham in Freeport, Bahamas, El Cozumeleno & Playa Mia in Cozumel and Sunscape Splash Resort in Jamaica are exceptions and do not include towels.

Don't forget to factor in transportation costs, if any, when pricing out options - Transfers are offered in Jamaica, Roatan, and Curacao.

Depending on the resort you are either required to pay a small deposit or pay in full. Please check the payment policies of the specific resort. Also many resorts have complimentary passes for infants & toddlers. Please visit the resort page to find specific age requirements. All passes includes taxes and gratuity.

Either print out your pass after payment, or you may show your pass on a smart phone or tablet at check in.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Resort For a Day refunds all deposits up to 11 days prior to your sail date. Within 11 days the deposit is not refundable - however you will not be responsible for the remaining balance. All passes are valid and non-refundable rain or shine - however you are entitled to a full refund if your ship miss the port for any reason. Space is limited - book in advance to ensure your spot is secured.

Resort For a Day Passes Only Available For Cruisers
Most resort passes can only be sold to customers coming off of cruise ships. The only exception is San Juan Resort for a Day passes which are available to cruisers as a pre- or post-cruise excursion.

Group Rates
Discount group rates are offered for groups of 16 guests. The discount applies to the pass, not the transfer. Note: No discount group rates offered for Nassau, Bahamas.

Resort For A Day Passes are not sold on-board cruise ships or at the port, and must be purchased directly from the website. The passes are not affiliated with timeshare properties - only vacation resorts.
